Update: new photos at the bottom! And don't miss our comedy video!
This task was the last completed on the day of the Great Yarmouth Watermob. We had the guns, we had the ropes, we had a hat with holes in it. It was the perfect opportunity.
Our target would be Argos, we'd heard that the catalogues have a high value on the black market. This time on year it would be packed with special Christmas deals! And they even have a smaller Christmas deal leaflet.
Phase 1 - Training:
But of course, Argos is far too big a target to go straight in and attack, we needed training up. This came in the form of several practice heists on other shops in the town - Woolworths, Boots and Palmers. We also ducked and dived through the metal market stall frames, and leapt over benches. All of which would be very important in our daring raid.
The Woolworths raid was unsuccessful, and showed our clear lack of training. As we dashed in and ran to the catalogues, we found none. Daryl managed to scavenge an order slip, but it wasn't the same. The Boots raid was an equal failure, getting lost mid-store and looking aimlessly about for something free. Finally, after some nifty lift work, we felt we were ready to take on the big one. Bring it on Argos.
Phase 2 - The Heist:
Approx 1700 hours, Ben, Tom, Adam, Daryl and Fish move up to Argos.
Approx 1702 hours, Tom rappels into Argos, finding the Christmas catalogues. Whilst the others dart instore toward the main catalogues.
Approx 1703 hours, Tom runs out of the store.
Approx 1703.5 hours, Ben yells GO GO GO, everyone else runs out of the store.
Approx 1705 hours, We admire our takings. Mission complete.
This is the last task from the Tasking day on the 20th December. As mentioned before, we look forward to a London event Mr Fish!

You all are great. I particularly liked the rappelling---nice touch.
